“Muscat Moldovenesc” is the most well-known vintage dessert wine of a particularly high quality made by Cojusna Winery. It is produced using traditional methods. Usually the vintage wine is matured for 3 years, but “Muscat Moldovenesc” is aged for 5 years in oak barrels and then in bottles.
Over the years, it has already earned a well-deserved reputation and popularity. And all thanks to the ideal storage conditions in the basements of Cojusna Winery. This fabulous vintage wine is prepared from the sorts of grape such as Muscat Frontignan and Muscat Ottonel cultivated in the Central and Southern zones of Moldova. The bright golden color harbors an invigorating aroma, the bouquet is complex with subtle hues of muscat and tea rose. The taste is harmonious, well-defined and fresh.
It is recommended to consume “Muscat Moldovenesc” after the meal, with fruits, chocolate and various desserts. The wine is served with classic glasses, wine temperature should be 16-18 degrees, decantation is not recommended, since a delicate aroma of this wine is unstable. Two hours before consumption, the bottle should be placed in a horizontal position. Pour smoothly, without interrupting the stream, leaving sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
